Our Beliefs

GOD

God is the infinite personal Spirit, who has revealed Himself as a Trinity in unity, existing eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;three persons but one God. He is the Creator and the Sustainer of the universe. He is supreme and unique as well as active and dynamic in the world. He is compassionate, full a grace, and is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. He is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. Everything He created is good. This Holy God has given free will which is also good.

JESUS CHRIST

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinitarian God, who is the image of the invisible God, which is to say, He is Himself very God; He took upon Himself our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary; He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the world; He arose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified; He ascended into Heaven in that body glorified, where He is now, our interceding high priest; He will come again personally and visibly to set up His kingdom and to judge the quick and the dead. He was from the beginning and is eternal.

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the self-same Spirit of God and Spirit of Jesus Christ. He thinks, feels, grieves, wills, inspires anoints, fills, and indwells. He is a true divine person, equal in personhood to God the Father and God the Son. He is omniscient, knows everything, and intelligent. He is indispensable in divine revelation, inspiration, and illumination. All believers have received spiritual gifts or abilities from Him.

THE CHURCH

The church is an elect company of the believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body, each believer living his or her life in the power of the Holy Spirit; its mission being to witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, and teach and preach the Gospel among all nations

THE HOLY BIBLE

This book has been inspired by God the Holy Spirit, and includes both the Old and New Testaments consisting of a total of 66 books. It is the divine revelation, the original autographs of which were supervised by the Spirit so that the words were kept from error. It is inerrant and infallible. God complete revelation is therefore enclosed. Nothing and no other book can be added nor can any be subtracted from this comprehensive work.

SERVANTHOOD

As joint heirs with Jesus Christ, we are to yoke ourselves with him and yield to his will and wishes. As our Lord and Saviour, he has shown us with his life and sacrifice on earth how we should live; how we should yield to the Father; how we should listen humbly to the whisperings of His Holy Spirit. In this way we can be true servants and in service we can truly give God glory by our absolute obedience and submission of our will.

PRIESTHOOD

As believers and followers of Jesus Christ, the High Priest, we are empowered by Him who now has authority for all the world. We are to imitate Him and be the keeper of our brothers and sisters. Just as He taught while on earth, He has commanded us to teach and preach and make disciples. As the Spirit moved Him so He has sent His Holy Spirit to inspire and move us also. We are to touch lives, heal, pray for others, help the poor and needed, and do all that Jesus has commanded us and as he has proclaimed that even greater things he has enabled us to do.

TRANSFORMING GRACE

​We believe that once becoming a member of the body of Christ, God's Grace transforms our minds, hearts, and spirits towards the realization of our full potentials. This Grace is freely given through the work of Jesus' crucifixion on the cross, death, burial, bodily resurrection, and ascension.

RESPECTFUL INTERVENTION

​CREM firmly believes that the people of a community are in the best position to recommend the most appropriate solutions for themselves. We will not superimpose our views or methods because we supply the funds or materials. We respect the intellectual abilities, cultural values, and wisdom of all our clients. Though CREM would not agree with any clients; customs which are in discord with Biblical ethics or precepts, we still would in such a case only present our views and allow the Holy Spirit to do His Work. Added to that, we will not withhold our love or help from them, be they atheists, agnostics or of some creed which differs from the Holy Bible.

CULTURAL ARROGANCE

CREM normally enters an area blind. That is in ignorance although CREM's Project Coordinator may be a member of the very community which is a client of CREM. It is the view and operating and practical philosophy of CREM to not to offer solutions to clients unless asked. But even when asked, CREM will seek to stimulate the creative solutions from its clients, rather than provide our solutions.
